| Flower-arranging class
Flowers for the church
A flower-arranging group has been set up in conjunction with the church flower rota. This is to give people the opportunity to learn the basics of flower-arranging so they can feel confident making their own displays and possibly join the flower rota at a later stage.
People who are already on the rota also get a chance to improve their skills, and the group can also be called upon to decorate the church for special occasions such as Harvest and Easter.
The group meets periodically, usually on Saturdays, events are advertised on the church website and Facebook page. Hints and tips are given and arrangements made that are suitable for your own home or for church.
Everyone is welcome to join in, providing their own greenery or flowers, or just to watch and learn. Tuition is normally given free, but there may be a small charge for "mechanics" such as oasis or pots.
